It’s been a week since round 3, so we were ready to have some fun and find our round 4 purchase! We had $8.00 burning a hole in our collective pockets and set out for an adventure.
We started our search at two different Goodwill stores, and quickly found out that we may have to expand our search to some new places. So we ran to another local thrift store and struck our there too. We had somewhere to be, but decided to make one last stop at a local store called Bargain Hunt, which is a 2nd hand store that carries new items.
Walking around the store, we looked and looked and just could not find anything that was both $8.00 and could be sold for at least $16.00. Right before we needed to leave, we decided to take one last walk down an isle we hadn’t been down yet. At the very end of the isle, tucked back behind some other boxes we found our winner!
I am a big fan of Moleskin notebooks, so when I saw the corner of the tag, I knew what brand it was. But I had never heard of this drawing kit before! To be honest, I really wanted to keep it for our family, but rules are rules! We looked it up on Amazon and eBay, saw that it was selling for between $27 and $30. We had our winner!
About 20 minuted later, I posted it on Facebook and within a few minutes it was sold for $20.00 (including shipping, which was $2.72 for USPS Media Mail). So, here are the numbers:

-$0.88 – Paypal fees
$16.40 – Net revenue ($0.40 to the extra pot!)
